Farmland solid waste is expected to become pesticides and fertilizers



After the addition of active microbial bacteria, rural solid waste becomes an organic fertilizer that is easily absorbed by crops, and its efficacy can replace or even exceed pesticides and fertilizers. After nearly three years of trials and demonstrations, the technology has been successfully promoted on more than 1,000 mu of land around Dianchi Lake. This is the news that the reporter got from the Chenggong County Environmental Protection Bureau yesterday. It is reported that the successful promotion of this technology means that in the near future, not only the disposal of farmland solid waste will no longer be a problem, but Kunming people are also expected to be freed from pesticide and fertilizer pollution.
Nowadays, among the three important links that cause pollution in Dianchi Lake, the agricultural non-point source pollution rate is as high as 50%, and the most prominent one is the loss of farmland solid waste and chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It is understood that excessive application of pesticides and fertilizers has been one of the obstacles to agricultural economic growth in Chenggong County. In Chenggong County, the application rate of chemical fertilizer per mu is 0.5 tons per year, and part of the cultivated land reaches 1 ton. The survey found that the applied fertilizer is only 30% absorbed by crops, and the amount of loss is quite serious. In addition, organic waste such as rape leaves and straw is not used as a favorable resource, but is used as a kind of harmful “waste” to beside the Tianyu Road. It not only pollutes the environment, but also causes trace elements and organic matter in the soil. The reduction of nutrients, the reduction of soil fertility, the increase in cost, the decline in crop quality, and the difficulty of increasing farmers' incomes.
In order to change the “weird circle” of this vicious circle, Chenggong County first launched the experiment of “environmental use of farmland solid waste resources”, using farmland solid waste as raw material and adding “far-to-be” activity. After microbial bacteria, organic matter such as cellulose and keratin in solid waste is decomposed, and solid waste that has been abandoned by people has now become a "powerful minister" to help grow crops. Moreover, compared with the traditional fertilizer and pesticide application, it was found that active organic fertilizer can reduce the use of chemical fertilizer by 50%, and there is no significant difference between fertilizer efficiency and customary fertilization, whether used as base fertilizer or top dressing.
At present, technicians have screened out the best formula and application technology for making organic bioactive fertilizers, and selected six representative vegetable and flower planting areas in Meizi, Dounan, Jiangwei, Yinlian, Xiaogucheng and Majinpu. After the promotion and demonstration of bio-organic fertilizer, up to now, the three bio-fertilizer plants built in Meizi, Majinpu and Oolong have all been completed and put into use. The three bio-fertilizer plants have a capacity to treat farmland solid waste up to 30 tons per day and an annual output of 18,000 tons of organic bio-fertilizer.
It is also known that this environmental protection project has been successfully promoted, including the production technology of liquid fertilizer and solid fertilizer. The liquid fertilizer production technology is simple and the investment is small. The ordinary farmers can build a septic tank by using the existing septic tank in the field or investing 200-500 yuan. This combines the planting, breeding and fertilizer production for ordinary farmers. Waste savings investment is undoubtedly good news.
