Although the power generation cost of a power plant is higher than that of other power generation methods, for remote islands, investment costs such as power transmission can be saved. At present, dozens of wave energy power stations have been built in the United States, Britain, and India, and all have been operating well.

Combustible ice: This is a solid compound that combines with water. Its appearance is similar to that of ice, so it is called "combustible ice." Combustible ice is stable under low temperature and high pressure, and the combustible gas released by the melting of ice is equivalent to 100 times the volume of the original solid compound. It is estimated that the amount of flammable ice is more than the sum of coal, oil and natural gas on Earth.

Coal bed methane: Because of the increase in temperature and pressure during the formation of coal, it also releases flammable gas while producing a metamorphic effect. From peat to lignite, 68m3 of gas is produced per ton of coal; from peat to fat coal, 130m3 of gas is produced per ton of coal; from peat to anthracite, 400m3 of gas is produced per ton of coal. Scientists estimate that CBM can reach 2000 Tm3 on Earth.

Microorganisms: There are many countries in the world rich in sugar cane, sugar beet, cassava, etc., use of microbial fermentation, can be made of alcohol, alcohol has complete combustion, high efficiency, no pollution, etc., with its dilution of gasoline can be "ethanol gasoline", and The production of alcohol is rich in raw materials and low in cost. According to reports, Brazil has modified hundreds of thousands of cars with "ethanol gasoline" or alcohol-based fuel, reducing air pollution. In addition, the use of microorganisms can produce hydrogen to open up new sources of energy.
