At the end of April, a huge hot gas pipeline crossed the 325 provincial highway and entered the Textile Industrial Park of the Economic Development Zone in the town. Focusing on the goal of high-end traditional industries and relying on the 200,000-ton polyester filament project, at the beginning of this year, Suzhou City seized the opportunity for the country to expand domestic demand, accelerate the construction of supporting high-end home textile industrial parks, and promote the accelerating clustering of chemical fiber textile enterprises. From the magnificent Hengli (Suqian) Industrial Park to the large-scale Arrowhead Industrial Park; from the fully-equipped textile industrial park to the highly concentrated Evergreen International Apparel Park and the “Top 10 Industrial Parks” in Suzhou City, the textile industry Occupy the "half of the country."

In the new round of industrial restructuring, on the one hand, the city of Suzhou continues to expand its scale, increase production capacity, enhance innovation capabilities, and take high-end lines; on the other hand, it uses its external forces and optimizes its industrial structure to make the textile industry “step by step”.

At present, the city’s textile industry has formed a complete set of chemical fiber, wool and cotton textiles, complete with raw materials, production, and market facilities, and a differentiated foreign, domestic, and joint-venture industrial structure with 200,000 spinning spindles, 10,000 looms, and 200,000 tons. The industrial scale of polyester filaments and 20 million garments has grown from less than 10 years ago to more than 50 today, and sales have grown from less than RMB 100 million to more than RMB 5 billion today. The scale of the city's textile and garment industry will exceed 10 billion yuan and become a truly "big textile."
