Iwaki USA develops a range of energy-efficient, digitally controlled, directly driven diaphragm pumps

Iwaki America has developed a series of energy-saving, digitally controlled, direct-drive diaphragm pumps. According to Iwaki, the IX series diaphragm pumps are helical and spring-assisted, reducing power consumption by 70% compared to standard rebound designs. This series of diaphragm pumps use a turndown control motor to adjust exhaust and suction speeds to meet a turndown ratio of 750: 1 from 200 ml / hr to 150 liters / hr. The series uses multi-voltage operation (100-240 VAC), compatible with voltage around the world, and in line with UL and CE standards. The motor and control unit are sealed separately in the IP65 housing. All models have a diaphragm rupture detector and a non-normal operation of the detector, due to blockage or improper operation caused by excessive discharge pressure, can play a protective pipe. The design of the valve ensures the correct mounting orientation and the drainage holes ensure safe operation, even when the diaphragm is damaged. The series of diaphragm pumps can handle a maximum viscosity of 1,000 cps, liquid temperature: 0-50 degrees Celsius (TC, TE type), 0-80 degrees Celsius (S6 type). Indoor operating temperature: 0-50 degrees Celsius, maximum suction 6.5 feet (2 meters). The IX Series diaphragm pumps are suitable for automated chemical delivery in industries such as water treatment, chemical handling and other metrology applications and are reported to handle almost all chemicals.
