According to recent foreign media reports, the Shenzhou 10 spacecraft is scheduled for launch in 2013. However, details about China’s manned spaceflight program remain somewhat unclear. Since the Shenzhou 9 mission, it appears that the basic design of the Shenzhou series has been largely frozen, though minor aesthetic changes might still be possible. Some internal systems, such as software and microelectronic components, are expected to undergo further refinements. So far, the Shenzhou spacecraft have successfully returned to Earth multiple times. While the landing method is similar to that of Russian spacecraft, its proven reliability and safety have been well demonstrated.
The model of China’s space station displayed at the airshow looks quite different from the truss-based structure of the International Space Station.
China’s space station also incorporates advanced energy solutions, with solar panels providing power to the orbital platform. This reflects a commitment to sustainable and efficient technology in its space endeavors.
The Shenzhou 10 mission is expected to carry additional cargo and allow three astronauts to stay aboard the Tiangong 1 for an extended period. It may also transport unexpected experimental equipment, both on the spacecraft and within the Tiangong 1 module. The crew members might not be officially announced before the launch. Compared to the Shenzhou 9 mission, Shenzhou 10 will focus more on maintenance and scientific experiments conducted by the astronauts on Tiangong 1. Additionally, this mission will serve as a training platform for future Chinese space missions, helping to establish a stronger astronaut corps and supporting long-term space activities.
During the first manned flight, only one astronaut was aboard. Over time, the number of crew members increased gradually, allowing experienced astronauts to take part in subsequent missions. As for the launch vehicle, it is widely believed that the Long March 2F rocket will continue to be used. The fairing should look nearly identical to previous versions. With a takeoff weight of nearly 500 tons, the Long March 2F has a strong track record, capable of delivering up to 8 tons of payload into orbit. It is expected that the Shenzhou 10 will use the same rocket and launch pad (Site 921) as its predecessors.
As
the name suggests, Diaphragm Metering Pump using a special design and
processing of flexible diaphragm instead of the piston, under the action
of the drive mechanism to achieve reciprocating motion, complete the
suction - discharge process. Due
to the segregation of the diaphragm, the isolation between the metering
fluid and the driving lubrication mechanism is realized in the
structure. High-tech structural design and the selection of new materials has
greatly improved the service life of the diaphragm, coupled with
excellent corrosion resistance of composite materials, diaphragm
metering pumps become the main application of fluid measurement pump
type.
