Yang Coal Group miners receive a safety insole

In September, when Yang Lan, a miner from Yangmei Coal Group, was registering his shoe size, he assumed it was for the standard insole of the unit. However, he never expected to receive a handmade "safety insole" this time. Not only is it practical and easy to use, but it also carries a strong message about workplace safety. On December 17, when Yang Lan received the handmade insoles, he was deeply moved. The Second Service Center of the Sublimation Branch of Yanghua Group launched a family-friendly initiative, distributing 600 handmade "safety insoles" to miners who live in collective dormitories. This gesture was part of a broader effort to enhance safety awareness and create a more caring environment for workers. The Standardization Team at the Second Service Center is responsible for maintaining the miners' apartment building. Many of the residents are single workers who have left their families behind. Captain Han Yuying mentioned that the team has regularly organized family service activities before, including previous insole distributions. However, those insoles were purchased, costing 2.5 yuan per pair. Miners often found them difficult to clean and ended up discarding them quickly. Inspired by the call for conservation, Han Yuying came up with an innovative idea: using discarded sheets to make handmade insoles. In September, the apartment building had just replaced 60 old sheets, so instead of throwing them away, they decided to repurpose them. With the help of over 80 staff members, they gathered in a large conference room to work on the project. Over the course of three months, the team carefully crafted 600 pairs of insoles. Each one was embroidered with safety messages such as “Life is Safe,” “Safety is Heaven,” and “Safety First.” These words not only served as a reminder of the importance of safety but also brought a sense of care and attention to the miners’ daily lives. This initiative reflected the growing emphasis on sustainability and employee well-being within the company. It showed how small gestures can have a big impact, making workers feel valued and supported. The handmade insoles became more than just a practical item—they became a symbol of responsibility, care, and community. Pneumatic Angle Seat Valve

Pneumatic Angle Seat Valve are 2/2-way pneumatically actuated piston valve. The piston actuator provides a linear motion to lift the seal off its seat. Because the seat is positioned under an angle, the flow is minimally impeded in the open position, resulting in an excellent flow rate and a low pressure loss. They are used to regulate the flow of liquids, gases, steam, vacuum and even aggressive fluids. They can also operate with high temperatures and high viscosity media, even under zero differential pressures. The robust design makes angle seat valves a popular choice for harsh applications and they have very high cycle lives. Therefore, they are excellent long-life alternatives to ball valves. These valves are also suitable alternatives for solenoid valves, especially with contaminated, viscous media where typical solenoid valves would fail. They may be operated using a single acting or double acting configuration, which has an influence on its pressure rating. They can also be designed as manually operated or electrically operated.
