In an effort to enhance public awareness of quality and foster a strong environment for building a national model city with high-quality standards, the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision officially launched the "Zhengzhou Mayor Quality Award Enterprise Community Campaign" in early August. This comprehensive publicity initiative took place across 15 stations, covering six counties (cities) within the nine districts of Zhengzhou.
The Zhengzhou Mayor Quality Award is the highest honor bestowed by the municipal government in recognition of outstanding quality achievements. It is awarded to enterprises based in Zhengzhou that have a broad social presence, a robust quality management system, and are gradually adopting excellent performance management practices. These organizations demonstrate leadership in their respective industries, contribute significantly to Zhengzhou's economic growth, and achieve positive social impacts through their commitment to quality and innovation.
Fifteen representatives from Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd., which has won the "Zhengzhou Mayor Quality Award" in both 2011 and 2012, actively participated in the campaign. At each event, these companies set up banners, information booths, and interactive displays to showcase their products, educate the public on quality-related laws and regulations, and engage in meaningful conversations that help raise overall public awareness of quality.
