Recently, the Beijing Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering under the General Machinery Research Institute was entrusted with the acceptance of the "2000KN Vertical Cold Swing Rolling Machine Development Research" project. The project successfully developed a new oscillating head design with an innovative motion trajectory, achieving a key breakthrough in solving the issue of increased forming force in the central equipment during the swinging process. The cold swing machine has already produced prototypes for vehicle starting ratchets and differential speed mechanisms. Compared to traditional hot forging and machining methods, the bevel gear test pieces demonstrate significant energy savings and improved production efficiency.
