Leather soft bed maintenance knowledge

1. Start by removing any dust or dirt from the surface using a soft cloth. Then, apply a leather care agent and gently wipe the sofa’s surface one or two times. Avoid using wax-based products, as they can damage the leather over time. This will help create a protective layer that prevents future dirt from seeping into the leather pores, making cleaning easier in the long run.

2. Be cautious of sharp objects that could scratch the leather. Keep pets' nails trimmed and avoid placing items with rough edges on the sofa to maintain its appearance and durability.

3. Prevent oil stains, ink, and ballpoint pen marks from coming into contact with the leather. If any stains occur, clean them immediately with a leather cleaner. If you don’t have a specific leather cleaner, use a clean white cloth lightly dampened with alcohol to gently dab the stain. Then, wipe it with a slightly damp towel and finish by applying a leather protective agent to restore and preserve the surface.

4. For daily maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner every 2-3 months. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the fabric or leather surface without causing damage.

5. Position your sofa at least 5–10 cm away from the wall to allow for proper air circulation. Good ventilation helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps the leather in optimal condition.

6. Keep the sofa out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure can cause fading, drying, and cracking of the leather. If possible, use curtains or blinds to protect it from harsh UV rays.
