Sewage pump instructions: 1. The pump must be connected to a three-phase four-wire power supply. If there is no grounding wire, it must be installed to prevent electric shock. Ensure that the motor is equipped with circuit breakers and switches nearby to protect against motor damage caused by blockages. 2. The pump can operate without a base, as long as it is placed on a stable surface. If necessary, secure it with a rope to avoid accidents. After starting the motor, check the rotation direction immediately and ensure it does not run in reverse for more than one minute. 3. If the liquid being pumped contains weeds, wires, wood, bricks, or other debris, remove them beforehand. Use a wire basket or similar device to prevent such materials from entering the pump and causing damage to the impeller, clogging the pipeline, or creating other issues. 4. When pumping mud or other contaminants, flush the pump and pipes with water for a short period after each use to keep them clean and functional. 5. If used outdoors, the motor should be protected from rain and water immersion by using a waterproof cover or shelter. 6. When operating at the bottom of a river, the sump should be suspended on a tripod or placed on a float or boat for mobility. During earthwork, ensure that the broken blocks are no larger than one-third the diameter of the suction inlet. 7. The pump's speed should not be increased beyond its maximum rated speed. While reducing the speed is allowed, it will significantly lower the performance. 8. When pumping thick slurry, high-viscosity liquids, or transporting over long distances, the load capacity will decrease. However, do not alter the pump structure to increase the load. 9. For general operation, perform regular maintenance after approximately 1,250 hours. Disassemble the pump to inspect the bearings and seals, clean them, and replace the grease. If needed, replace the oil seal or bushings. Refer to the installation manual for replacement parts. (For mechanical seal pumps, regular maintenance is recommended around 3,500 hours.) 10. When storing the pump for long periods, disassemble the volute, clean all components, and apply a thin layer of oil to moving parts and joints. Store the pump in a dry, safe place for future use.
