Sewage pump instructions

Sewage pump operation instructions: 1. The pump must be connected to a three-phase four-wire power supply. If there is no grounding wire, it must be installed to prevent electrical leakage. Ensure that the motor is equipped with circuit breakers and switches nearby to avoid motor damage caused by blockages. 2. The pump can operate without any base installation as long as it is placed on a stable surface. If necessary, secure it with a rope to avoid accidents. After starting the motor, check the rotation direction immediately and ensure it does not run in reverse for more than one minute. 3. When pumping liquids containing weeds, wires, wood, bricks, or other debris, try to remove them beforehand. Use a wire basket or similar device to prevent foreign objects from entering the pump, which could damage the impeller, cause clogging, or block pipelines. 4. When suctioning mud or other contaminants, flush the pump and pipes with water for a short period to keep them clean. 5. If operating outdoors, protect the motor from rain and water immersion by using a proper cover or shelter. 6. When working at the bottom of a river, install the sump on a tripod and use a float or boat for mobility. During earthwork operations, ensure that the broken blocks are no larger than one-third of the suction inlet diameter. 7. The pump should operate at its maximum speed and should not be forced to run faster. Reducing the speed is acceptable, but this will significantly lower efficiency. 8. When pumping thick slurry, viscous liquid, or transporting over long distances, the load capacity will decrease. Do not alter the pump structure to increase the load. 9. After approximately 1,250 hours of operation, perform regular maintenance. Disassemble the pump housing to inspect the bearings and seals, clean them, and replace the grease. If needed, replace the oil seal, bushings, or other components. Refer to the installation manual for replacement parts. For mechanical seal pumps, maintenance is recommended after about 3,500 hours. 10. For long-term storage, disassemble the volute, clean all internal parts, and apply a thin layer of oil to the moving surfaces. Store the pump in a dry place for future use.
